Exercise Physiologists specialise in the delivery of exercise, lifestyle and behavioural modification programs for the prevention and management of injuries and chronic disease.

Our Exercise Physiologist, Paul McDonald, thoroughly assesses patients to develop and monitor safe and effective rehabilitative exercise programs to achieve patient goals.

Paul completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science in 2011, and his Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) in 2012. As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Paul is passionate about applying the principles of strength and conditioning to assist his clients to move well and ultimately achieve their health and fitness goals. Paul is highly experienced in providing strength and conditioning programs for those new to resistance-based exercise through to athletes wishing to carry out strength training for performance enhancement.

Paul has a special interest in weight management, chronic respiratory conditions such as COPD and musculoskeletal conditions such as osteoarthritis.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys riding his bikes (on and off the road), training and playing touch football.
