Kyle completed his undergraduate degree in Speech Pathology at the University of Newcastle. He is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) and current Member of Speech Pathology Australia (MSPA). He has worked as a Speech Pathologist nationally before returning to the Central Coast.
He has worked in a range of adult clinical settings including neurology, stroke and neurosurgery, geriatric medicine, traumatic/acquired brain injury and intensive care. He works with patients in an acute hospital setting, within residential aged care services and the wider community to improve their communication skills, ability to safely eat and drink and to increase their quality of life and independence.
Kyle provides Speech Pathology services for patients over the age of 18 with a special interest in the assessment and management of:
- Swallowing disorders
- Voice disorders
- Transgender voice therapy
- Stroke and brain injury rehabilitation
- Communication and swallowing in dementia , Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, motor neurone disease, and other neurological conditions
Kyle can provide Speech Pathology services to Aged Care facilities on the Central Coast. Kyle visits the client at the facility and is typically referred by a Doctor or Aged Care facility. Kyle has worked extensively in private and public hospitals and can provide Speech Pathology services and individual consultations for patients in private hospitals upon request. Kyle is also able to provide cover for regular Speech Pathology services in private hospitals upon request.
