Dietetics On The Central Coast
Personalised Dietetics for Real Life
Generic diet advice rarely accounts for your medical history, your schedule or the foods you genuinely enjoy, which is why a tailored approach makes such a difference. At HealthPoint Mingara in Tumbi Umbi, serving the wider Central Coast, our dietitians build your plan around you, not a one-size-fits-all template.
We start by understanding what's driving your current eating patterns, whether that's a diagnosed condition, ongoing digestive issues, sports performance goals or simply wanting more control over your food choices.

Support For Every Goal
Dietetics isn't only for people managing a diagnosed condition, though it plays a central role there too. You might be adjusting to a diabetes diagnosis, working through ongoing bloating or IBS symptoms, recovering from surgery, managing cholesterol, navigating pregnancy nutrition or simply trying to build habits that don't collapse after a fortnight. Whatever's brought you in, the starting point is the same: a clear look at your current diet and an honest conversation about what's realistic for your life.
From there, you won't be handed a generic printout and sent on your way. Your dietitian will ask about your typical week, your relationship with food, any medications or conditions that affect what you eat and what's actually worked (or hasn't) in the past. Changes are introduced gradually, so your body and your routine have time to adjust. For anyone already seeing another practitioner at HealthPoint Mingara, whether that's for exercise physiology or psychology, your dietitian can work alongside them so your care fits together rather than pulling in different directions.
